Process Explained

The Classroom Action Research process is one approach to facilitate and enhance collaboration between the ELA and FSL teachers. This process was adapted for the classroom from a traditional action research model.

Together, you and your partner identify a common goal and plan a course of action. Through ongoing reflection, you both monitor your choices and the impact these have on student learning. You gather information about your teaching, your collaboration and your students’ learning. You then see what it means to you and how it will inform your practice.
